Sights and Sounds

While enjoying your stay at Paradise Seashell Motel, be sure to take a short walk down to see what we fondly call the ‘Eagle Tree’.   Several of these majestic birds have called this tree home for some time, allowing our guests to view them in awe as they soar to and from the tree, their songs echoing over the ocean.

Continue further on down to the Oceanside to find many more forms of wildlife including crabs, sand dollars, hermit crabs, bullheads, and more!   The amazing sights, sounds, smells, and feelings of the beautiful Parksville shoreline present such a welcoming sentiment that will keep you coming back year after year!

To ensure the survival of the surrounding sea life, we encourage all visitors and locals alike not to take any home for souvenirs.   A popular beach inhabitant is the sand dollar.   Unknowingly, many people collect these creatures while they are still living.   An easy, tell tale sign of a live sand dollar is brown, furry growth on the outside of the shell.  These should be left on the beach.

After visiting the beach and playing a round of mini-golf, explore the Oceanside area. There’s so much to see and do around Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
